Catalan IoT Alliance

The IoT Catalan Alliance is promoted by the Government of Catalonia within the SmartCatalonia strategy to accelerate the adoption of IoT technologies in our country. The Alliance is constituted by companies and organizations that are directly involved within the IoT value chain.

The constitution of this group allows to establish the ideal environment so that the key agents of this industry discuss among themselves with the aim of jointly defining an action plan to promote the IoT in Catalonia.

FIWARE

The FIWARE Community is an independent Open Community whose members are committed to materialize the FIWARE mission, that is: “to build an open sustainable ecosystem around public, royalty-free and implementation-driven software platform standards that will ease the development of new Smart Applications in multiple sectors”. The FIWARE Community is not only formed by contributors to the technology (the FIWARE platform) but also those who contribute in building the FIWARE ecosystem and making it sustainable over time.

Connecting Europe Facility

CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) is a European Union initiative facilitating the delivery of digital public services across Europe.

With the support and guidance of CEF and FIWARE we are working towards interoperability and EU-compliance for HIAS, the Hospital Intelligent Automation Server.

Barcelona Health Hub

The mission of Barcelona Health Hub is to promote innovation in digital health and its transfer to the sector, linking startups, health organizations, companies and investors.

Sant Pau hosts a knowledge center formed by relevant institutions in the fields of sustainability, health and education, among others.

These organizations develop their own programs and projects in the Art Nouveau Site, but also undertake joint initiatives with the aim of providing answers to the challenges of the society of the 21st century.

Lancaster Intelligent, Robotic and Autonomous Systems Centre

Lancaster Intelligent, Robotic and Autonomous systems (LIRA) Research Centre was set up in early 2018 with the aim to bring together the diverse research excellence and expertise in the areas of Intelligent, Robotic and Autonomous Systems (IRAS). Its core is formed by 30 academics from a range of departments across different Faculties and can be seen here. LIRA is multi-disciplinary by design.

The Intel® Software Innovator program supports innovative, independent developers who display an ability to create and demonstrate forward-looking projects by providing them with speaking and demonstration opportunities at industry events and developer gatherings. Through their expertise and innovation with cutting-edge technology, Intel Software Innovators demonstrate a spirit of ingenuity, experimentation, and forward thinking that inspires the greater developer community.

Crea Idea Lab

Headquartered in Barcelona Spain, with offices in Dublin,Ireland and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, CREA IDEA LAB is a consultancy and think tank for advanced smart cities.

CREA IDEA LAB is a member of the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities (EIP-SCC), EU AI Alliance, the IoT Catalan Alliance of the Catalonian Government and the Chamber of Commerce Brasil- Catalonia.
